Default boost problem???

I noticed the other day(when trying to overtake) there was no boost, well it kicked in the died and ever since it has sort of boosted in stages. Kicks in then strains then goes again, oh also the spooling sounds louder.

Anyone got any ideas what it could be?

many thanks

I think weve got it

Can someone point us in the right direction (or part number) for the highlighted item please For a 2001 UK300

Aftermarket inlet hose has been fitted due to being split, but this piece it connects to has now creased and is letting in a bit too much air!
