Unhappy car drinking a lot of petrol

hi there i have a 1997 non turbo 2l gl auto wagon.i brought it on saturday and all i keep doing is petrol fill ups.im getting well under 100 miles on £20 is this right or wrong.this is my first subaru.my last car was 2.6 v6 audi cab and it did alot more miles then that.cheers guys

even though you get the ludicrous people who say you own a scoob therefore you must not monitor your MPG, some of us actually care how much MPG we do....in your case 100 miles on £20 is more or less 25mpg, 80 miles on £20 is about 20MPG. so about what you'd expect really.

edit: just saw that it's a non-turbo, i would have thought about 130ish on £20 would be about right.

hi mate i have an 02 bug non turbo and it gives me about the same so i think its normal feller.

that can't be right for a non turbo i used to get over 100 in my03 wrx.focus rs thats a different story im getting about 60-70 miles out of 20pounds

Its an auto aswell so figures are about right
