Hi all new member here have a 02 bugeye wrx but rad split on plastic top so bought one off reputable seller on ebay fitted today but now steam coming from everywhere under the bonnet but cant find source and stinks of antifreeze. really worried guys rad was identical to one taken off except had two brass pipes sticking out at right angles at bottom of rad but seem to serve no purpose as filled rad up and nothing came out of them ?????
heater gets ridiculously hot aswell and what are the brass pipes for??

any help would be really appreciated

how do you guys refill anyway as i filled the top tank slowley with heater on full but first filled rad throughpipe at top of rad with small funnel???

Extra pipes are for the Automatic Transmission equipped Impreza's and can be ignored.
Do a search on here for good guides on filling/bleeding the cooling system
