Was there a slave cylinder return spring fitted prior to the clutch change that wasn't refitted at all?

I'd say either the return spring or the clutch release bearing?? Did you fit a new one or use the old one?

its a brand new clutch release bearing too mate, i think the spring is missing bud, i have put a spring from the top of the clutch lever to the engine and this seems to be doing the job now is that right?
