my car normally boosts to 1.5bar but is not gettin past 0.5!!!!! this is very worryin but not sure on prblem any ideas??? cheers

check the intercooler/inlet manifold hose clips, maybe loose.

either the ecu is cutting the boost electronically, or the turbo is snafu'd (unlikely but possible).. so the way i checked it on my 00 impreza was to undo the pipe in-between the turbo and the OEM boost controller (can't see it being much different on later models), this SHOULD make it overboost like crazy, go 4 a spin + be very VERY gentle on the throttle and bring it on boost - (you will need a boost gauge..). Then, if boost goes over 0.5 you know its related to the boost controller or restrictor pill, etc, otherwise your turbo is ... err.. knacked!! if its any concellation it turned out to be the turbo on mine.....

It could have gone into limp-home mode (for whichever reason) - the ECU cuts boost to raw w/g setting of c.0.5bar/7psi.....
