Default What pistons will fit my ej20?

think ive melted a piston on my 95 wrx, so thinking about buyin a set of second hand sti pistons off ebay. will any year ej20 pistons fit? n are all sti pistons forged?

Any STi piston up to and including Version 4 will fit yours without changing the head gasket thickness ,provided the pistons you are buying match your bore size ( A,B or oversize ).
Picture below is of a Version 4 WRX piston on the left and STi HF Forged piston on the right :



If you have melted/detted a piston away,chances are there will be some bore damage and might need boring oversize and you need to find out why it did it in the first place.

melted the lands on mine and put oversized sti's in mine and still going strong thanks to mick! do you have anymore 3 bond mick?........

why not just get a cosworth forge piston since its going to be part overhaul?
