hi guys hows things?hope sumone can help me can anyone tell me what type of code reader i need to buy to read codes on my 98 sport cheers

Not sure it's the same for the Sport but for the turbo there are green diagnostic connectors under the steering column to check for codes:-

yea know this but code is 33 which im told can be either gearbox speed sensor or abs speed sensor want to find out which one it is for definate so not spending unnessary coin . was gonna buy a diagnostic reader but not sure if the obd2 is suitable for my 98 scoob

It says vehicle speed sensor, so I'd say gearbox one.... But that's just a (logical) guess.

Hopefully a specialsit will know.........
