can someone please tell me the problem its hunting between 2k and 1.5k

right first of all i have had the car off the road for 4 months with the same petrol in
second i have changed the spark plugs to pfr7b
third when i squeeze the idle control valve pipe it idles fine
car is driving fine just the hunting
battery has been off for a couple of days
its running a mafless hydra ems set up so not maf
and also feel stupid for asking is it possible to lose a map having battery off????
