Dv sound
What do you mean by "took off"? Are you saying you've replaced the Forge valve with a standard one? If so, did you reconnect the recirculation pipe that leads back to the induction pipe, or have you left it venting to atmosphere? If you have, that's your problem.
Would help to know what type/year of car you're talking about too.

Like splitpin says only way it is possible is if you've left the recirc pipe vta. If its connected then it wont make any noise. If you have not fitted the gasket between intercooler and recirc valve this might leak ,but would not make that much noise as it is quite a flush fit.(if it is the gasket you will need to order one part no 21896AA050).
If you have connected the re circ pipe to the valve and not connected it to the induction pipe,(cant see you doing that)then the car wont run properly .
Are you hearing the noise when revving the car whilst stationary,or when driving on boost ?????.
If it is the gasket you will have to wait unless your local dealer has one,as subaru uk ,not got any in the country.
