If you team the above calipers/discs with PF pads (instead of K-Sport's own), it's allegedly an awesome set-up!

Your current Brembo calipers with a set of Performance Friction Discs and Pads will be very good for both road and track.

Are the performance friction discs made of some special metal or something.

There is a fair bit to it, but PF discs are the best available.

Very high quality, 2 piece disc, fully floating, patented design. Pad compounds are very good too.

Duncan wrote a decent review on them a while back: https://www.scoobynet.com/wheels-tyr...es-up-job.html

The K-Sports are very good value for money and are a significant improvement over the Brembo's. If you can stretch to it, I would recommend their 356mm 8-pot kit on the front and 330mm 6-pots on the rear. I would also use better pads like DS25000 if possible.

The DS25000 substitutes are very, very good (as we all know ).

The PF 01 substitutes, however, are even better (and so they should be, given their c.£270 asking price!). You just have to file off the paint thickness on the back of the pad to get them to fit into the K-Sport's calipers...

I all ready have the performance friction pads and braided hoses all round so i think ill go for the PF discs to match, there is no way i can give them the punishment that duncan has gave them so they should be more than up to the job, thanks for all your replies, one last thing i may as well do a fluid change so which fluid do i buy, cheers steve.

On the drop down menu you will find a choice of Motul 5.1 or Motul RBF600.

Both are very good. Choose the RBF600 to trackproof
