Default Help With Front Fog Lights

Hello, I have just brought a 95 sti that had fog light covers, i've taken off the covers & found the connector, I've also fitted the loom from the connector to the fogs & fitted the fogs, ive removed the speedo surround to find the connector for the switch & replaced the blanking panel in the surround for the oem front fog light switch, have checked the fuses in the drivers footwell fuse box & engine bay fuse box, but still no lights.... is there a relay or separete fuse somewhere, or am i overlooking something???

Many thanks
Chris

Have you got a feed from the switch,(when turned on) to the lights as soon as the ignition is turned on or only when side or headlights are operated as sometimes the fogs won't work without the headlights on. Check the feed at all points, it shouldn't take long to work out the problem, Mike

Have checked all bulbs again & all working...
Have also used a circuit tester at the fog light connection by the F/N/S indercator, But Nothing.... So thinking there is a relay or another fuse behind the dash somewhere, proberly behind the glovebox me thinks....

There will probably be a relay, since the fogs don't work without the sidelights, IIRC, or it could be dipped headlights.......

Try all combinations anyway.

On my bugeye my front foglights switch on even without my lights on. But when they do they bring my sidelights on with them so must be through some sort of relay

Crystal or not, they're about as useful as a chocolate teapot unless you are driving in absolute pea soup - and even then they're limited.

What's With Putting A Capital On Each Word Btw?
