Default ESL motherboard

Ok I need some advise I was going to by a ecu off of this chap. but as I am not sure that it was what he said it was I didn't.

The ecu was without a case as he claimed he has put a solaris motherboard in it's place. The motherboard that he was tryin to sell to me was an EPROM Which was live mapped by scoobyclinic.

My question is. Is this an ESL motherboard and is it a re-mappable ecu?

Thanks mate. He has just replied saying that it's a...... And I quote "it's a impreza ecu with a scoobyecu" what's that???

He said it was live mapped at scoobyclinic I'm guessing I need to talk to them really.

What power are you running if you don't mind me asking?

a scooby ecu is a small daughter board built to emulate the 27c1028 chip which was no longer available, to allow the reprogramming of the early v1/2 jecs ecu, people use the esl live board now which allows live mapping of the jecs ecu, nothing wrong with the scoobyecu, but you need to make sure that it is for your mods, it may be worth emailing scooby clinic to see if they can still map them, but by the time you have paid for the board and the remap you are esl prices.
