how do you mean any good? its not a mod your going to notice any difference with, but while my inlet was off, i looped the cooland pipe back to the engine without a barb and left the pipes off the TB. bish bash bosh

i did it make it so much faster! ...... to remove the throttle body when you want clean it

im aware it wont make much if any noticable difrence
as explained in the guide

so is there any point

I did it, why not? It's a free mod, and as i fitted inlet insulators, header tank insulators, turbo blanket, wrapped headers, it was another off the list!

It helps a LOT to keep under bonnet temps down, and it's meant to help spool to, hotter gasses n all. Good to wrap it as it's sitting next to your tmic

Ive done it to my MY01 STI and makes a little difference.
On freezing cold mornings mine acts like its on NOS and even on cool mornings it still acts like that where it once wouldnt.

Think about it, your cooling the air going though the IC and then heating it back up again in the throttle body.
