newage door mirror removal

as above guys!!!
trying to remove the glass but afriad on breaking it...
its a bugeye jdm!!!
any tips??

You will break it, I did.... and they aren't cheap.

so how does the glass come out????
i've heard somewhere that you heat the plastic glass surround and then remove the glass....
any ideas???

Boil the kettle and pour the hot water over the glass. The black plastic backing becomes flexible and you can remove the glass.
This 100% works. Even Subaru dealers break the glass and just use a new one.
