Default No overflow tank?

Hi, new to subaru turbos only had sports before, but i brought one saturday and drive it home (50miles) fine with no problems. Just been having a look at it today checking oil etc and found that there is no overflow tank for the coolant. There is no hose attached to the passanger side radiator at the top and i presume this goes to the overflow tank? It will be on my drive for the next 6 weeks so will not be driving it around. just wondering is it as simple and buying a overflow tank and connecting it to the radiator?
Thanks
