hi all ive got a 53plate blob eye wrx the engine management light has just came on am i right in thinking its partly to do with the 3'' turbo back exhaust ive just fitted ? if so will a remap cure this problem thx in advance chris

 

i was told when you put a new exhaust on the light comes on and was told to disconnect the battery to reset the management light....i think im right but check mate

 

have you fitted a decat up pipe as it will if youve put just centre section on and backbox decated you shudnt get light

 

If you've removed the cats in the system a light will come on yes.
You are also correct in thinking that this can be mapped out AFAIK.
