Maf maybe?
Hi got 2004 wrx rebuilt and Ecutek mapped to 342bhp. On a straight foot down car jumps and engine light comes on?
Have a AEM induction kit fitted, is this the maf.
Is there such a thing as an uprated maf that will solve it or just fit standard box back on and buy a Green panel filter.
Was hoping to save the hassle of refitting box/snorkel etc.

Was this induction kit fitted when the car was mapped, and was the car mapped by someone who knows what they are doing?
If the answer to both question is yes then the ECU should be set up appropriately for the intake configuration you're running, and thus the chances are the cause of the problem is elsewhere.
If on the other hand you've fitted the cone post-remap, it's not a case of uprating the MAF, it's a case of the ECU being appropriately calibrated. However, at 340-odd, and especially if you don't have a shroud or cold air feed, you'll probably be better off with the standard induction tract and a performance panel anyway.
