Default FOLDING MIRRORS FAULT HELP !

Got a 94 import with electric folding mirrors and suddenly after about a year of working the drivers side mirror wouldnt fold but the passenger does,They both used to fold and now suddenly the drivers side doesnt fold and ive swapped the miirrors over to check if the mirror folds on the passengerside and it does so the mirror is not faulty and ive tried a new switch and it doesnt work still so the switch is ok so must be wiring but nothing has been touched it just suddenly stopped working,If noticed a few people have had this problem is there a fuse or something as its strange one side works but not the other cheers

My guess would be the wiring between the body and the door. It hardens with age and can break down inside. With it being the drivers side it gets opened the most.

If you'vegot access to the switch and the mirror wiring, it's easy enough to identify which wires control the mirror folding application, and just run two new ones.

Would take you about 15 minutes to do, assuming you already have the switch out and the door card off, an hour tops if not.
