classic non starting when hot with no check light
hi there, got a 94 import wrx, car is mainly standered, car starts and drivers perfect for around 15 mins then it dies, when you turn the ignition on there is no check engine light and no cat temp light either, if you switch it off for 10 mins or so when you turn the ignition back on the lights come back on and she fires up again for another 15 mins or so, when the ignition is left on when the fault is occuring the fuel pump realy clicks now and then but nothing, i went straight for fuel pump really and replaced with a new subaru one (£62) no change, checked the wires to the back of the realy and there as they should be checked the power also and thats all working as it should be, also when the car fires back up i have checked for codes and none stored, last thing is the ecu is a z5 with motorsport stickers on it with lots of jap writhing anyone herd of these? i thought the z4 was the one to go for but could be wrong, has anyone the wiring diagram fot the ecu plugs or know the power wires to it to see if its getting power when the car heats up? any info would be appreciated thanks,, kev

z5 is from a 95/96 wrx RA.
If there are loads of Jap stickers on it i would expect it may be chipped ,just open it up to see.
JollyGreenMonster.co.uk ecu pinouts are here.
