My sound daft but cant seem to see the engine check light on the dash of my 1995 wrx import theres a light which is rectangle with squiggly lines above whats this?

 

i think thats the over heat light for one of the exhaust sensors. the check engine light is in the bottom left corner i think. you might find some has taken the bulb out due to the light staying on. if i was you i'd take the clocks out and investigate.
