Default idle help/cutting out

cars cutting out quite regularly

after driving and knocking into neutral coming up to a junction

more so when snapping throttle shut, rather than just slowing down through gears.

idle dips to 300rpm - sometimes catches again, but quite often doesnt

changed iodle control valve awhile ago, as idle was creeping up to 1600rpm, idle is now around 800rpm according to my apexi hand controller

car is a 94 sti

any ideas?

im thinking of just winding the throttle stop out a turn?

changed plugs and coils few weeks ago as had amisfire under high boost

have a sh*t hks dump valve vta just now that has too strong as spring pressure, its making the car judder after lifting of very light throttle - its ok if i snap throttle shut.

have another thread up looking for some pipe work so i can fit my turbosmart dv which is adjustable, but also vta

its going in for a remap one the avcr is hooked up, but id rather sort now if i can i dont like after a hard drive the engine cutting out and not feeding my turbo its oil, even if it is just for a few seconds
