Default Closed deck on p1 gearbox??

Hi guys, I was just wondering if a closed deck block would go straight on to the gearbox housing on a p1? Are all the blocks the same?

Thanks

yes, but the crank bearings set up is different and so will need machining to convert from centre to rear thrust bearings - rcm can do that for you.

No machining as such to fit that gearbox to that block.

You may just need to tap the gearbox to accept a stud to mount the starter thats all.

The blocks do differ in various ways but that has nothing to do with compatability of gearboxes.

Can confirm you will not need to worry about the internal thrusts of the block.....and no machining will be required.
