Question gearbox help

will a 97uk spec gearbox and diff be a straight swop into my95 wrx
or will i need driveshafts and linkage to go with it
r the electical and speedo connections the same

Think you should be ok, pretty sure the speedo is electronic on a 97 car.You can get converters.

I would ring David @ APi to be sure.

the gearbox and diff is a striaght swap you may have to change the linkage look at your current gearbox and the selector rod one on the replacement is clear if it will need replacing as its a male and female job you'll see this without removing anything but replace bushes of you might end up with a sloppy gear change speedo should be the same but if not as the previous fella siad convertors are available
