Default bit of advice

Hello people, quick question which might need a long answer lol
Was looking at getting a subaru, in particular looking at Subaru Impreza Wrx Turbo 2003.

i know they need alot of maintanance, Just wondering HOW MUCH do you really need? i mean how often would i need to change parts, baring in mind the one i'm looking at is under 60k miles.??

And are turbo's needing alot of changing at certain points???

any advice wud be gratelly appreciated.

To be honest mate id say they need no more extra serviceing than any other sports car. Keep the oil nice and clean and a new set of plugs once in a while and you will be fine. If you are handy with tools then its all easy diy stuff realy unless to have a service book you want to keep up to date. Timeing belt you may want to get done for you but again depends how handy you are. As for the turbos, id say they were prety good, all depends what you are planning for the car, if you just want to drive it you shouldnt have any probs with the standard, start upgradeing parts and looking for extra bhp and then the standard may start to get tired.
