Ball joints ?
Are they easy enough to do or do they need to be pressed in and out ?

If you are getting a set of alloy arms to replace your steel items, then you will need to make sure that they come complete with a pair of cone inserts to fit to the ball joints.
Alloy arms have a much larger hole in them for the location of the ball joint, so you need the inserts to bring the hole size back to the same size as the steel ones.

Once that is free, re-do it up and undo the nut and lever the wishbone off the ball joint.
You will struggle like hell the other way.
Now that sounds like the voice of experiance take it you done it a few times ?
Cheers youve made it sound easy was gonna do it the weekend but dont fancy playing in the snow
