Hello everyone, Let me just say I have very little knowledge my 1995 impreza import so can someone please tell me what these pipes are for?



They are under the intercooler, there is 3 in total all joined together by a plasic t-piece.

I have a water leak and when the car is running and the water looked like it was dripping from one of these pipes by the t-piece, so we took them off and they dont look like water pipes now they are in my hand

They are the engine breather pipes , they dont hold water or oil

Oh OK Thanks. That was a complete waste of a few hours fighting to get them off

I can not find a leak anywhere but as I said it looked like it was one of theses.

Back to the drawing board then, I cant even find and diagrams to show the cooling system to know where to look

only water pipes i can think of are the pipes that go to the throttle body

Found the leak, its coming from a small hose that goes to the bottom of the carb. The hose is only about 5" long and almost impossible to see until taking quite a few bits off.

Need to find out where to get one from now lol

just link the two throttle bodie pipes together and bypass it as shown above in his post

I only have this one pipe going to the throttle body. That picture in that link looks nothing like my system

But thanks anyway
