Default Alarm keeps going off. M30

I've got the alarm codes and it shows that it's the boot open. for some reason the light stays on in the boot even if i press the pin down. i've tried disconecting the bulb to break the circuit and also disconecting the pin but it hasn't worked. i looked for corrosion on the pin but can't see any. i noticed the bonnet pin had some corrosion on it so i tried to give that one a clean.

Any ideas?

Might try my Bro's bonnet pin on it see if thats it.

Hi, I had exactly the same thing without the codes to back it up though and now my boot will not open every now and then.

I have to lock/unlock anything up to 20 times before I can open it.

I took out my bonnet pin and cleaned the contact areas it working now. i've had no problems with the boot opening. light in the boot works fine now to. they curcuit must be linked with the bonnet switch.

I have just put a light coating of grease on the mechanism and opened and shut it a few times without it failing.

To early to call it a success but here's hoping.
