hi i have a 1996 classic impreza and im after a pair of fog light covers ,but will a set off a 1999 fit on to mine?.seen a set on ebay and the person selling them says they will ,but im not sure do they .cheers matt.

depends if you have a pre face lift or face lift? 96 is on the change over.
if you have facelift i think they will fit.

I Don't think they will Matt, the 1999 bumper has the wedges and smaller indicators so think the fog covers are a different shape to what you require

they DEFINATELY WILL NOT fit mate unless you have the 99 front bumper with the small indicators. you need 92 to 98 to fit yours

thanks for the replys, i have the two wedges on my bumper and im thinking they will not fit too and the seller is wrong ,which is a shame as the facelift fog covers version look a bit better but thanks for the reply, cheers matt

Also bear in mind that they are not actually covers cos you have to remove the foglights to fit them, they are really blanking plates.

the rb5 type are covers that fit over the fogs with out removing the lights, you wont find any secondhand they are rarer than hens teeth
