hi looking at some sti o3 ver on wards (blob eye) to buy

need some clarification on what cars are uk spec ?

as you usually get a type uk on the boot of most cars some i have seen do not have any

for instance i have seen a 05 plate sti with no type uk on the boot
are these jdm or europe imports ?

i would be grateful for any help

 

Possably a euro import but a dealer would tell you for definate if you have the chassis number, jdm's apart from being far superior to the uk cars have different turbo's, most at that age (not all) have dccd and quick rack steering, plus the dials are red and not green (plus the japanese writing normally gives it away ) and they are twin scroll so sound different (also smoother at tick over) due to the equal length headers
