some thing i never found out, piston differences???
a while back, i looked into a lot of things when tacling my uk classic engine.
i wanted sti pistons.
know i can not really remember, but did the pistons site level near the top of the bores.
i have a uk 95 classic, & i fitted sti v4 forged type pistons.
the reason i'm asking, a mate had a set of the standard uk pistons. and they looked quite big, but the sti ones look smaller
what i want to know is, from the pot of the piston to the grudgin pin
is there any difference
the car drives fine, but the torque level was always low till the turbo fully spooled up
i put this down to the fact, i put uk heads on.
sti v4 heads will be put on soon.
i also have an uprated uppipe, was told this would have slowed the spool of the turbo
another thing, are the conrods any different from uk to the jdm sti models
just want to find out, thats all
thanks in advance guys
