Default popping and misfire

he people changed my gearbox yesterday finally finished it of today.
started the car and at first did not want to start finally got it to fire up
but idel was a little low.so tryed to give it a rev to clear it out as has not been started for a while.but then it was popping out of exhaust popping and banging with the old flame.also if you dont touch the throttle it will want to stall. its a 95 wrx jdm turbo import i was thinking maybe the coil packs or plugs.but was fine a week agao when i started it just had problems with it kept stalling also the car is running simtek..any advise would be much appriciated kind regards ben

have you deffo got the earth lead back on near the starter

im pretty sure the earth is back on but cant see it being a bad earth but could be wrong. any more ideas people
