I had a little check on the ECU today.. There was this small black box (aprx. 7x7x1.5 cm) with four wires coming out of it (yellow, black, red and blue) which was piggybacked onto the cables coming out from the ECU (a 781 ecu).. I just bought this car, and I figure it's some kind of piggy-back chip (like unichip), but the box is just black and it's scrached 9Z000 on the back..

Anyone have a clue on what kind of modification this is?

It's a MY99.. The stearing-wheel is on the left side aswell, so this would'nt make it a Japanese import, would it? It is imported from Germany..

I had it measured yesterday and max boost was around 1050 mBar at 3500 rpm .. Then it stayed above 900 mBar until 6500 rpm was reached..
