Default tyres ???

Does any one know if any of the budget or cheaper tyres are any good for gripping the road ??
Need to know cos i need tyres soon and with it being this time of year and gettin laid off all the time cos of lack of work can't be splashing out on expensive tyres 215/35/18 so big ones lol, already splashed out on a wrx, lol

i was in the same boat at start of the week .i was looking at the cheap stuff but decided i would be safer using my bald ones rather than the budget stuff.in the end i put a couple of falkens on which i have used before and are not bad

+1 for falkens, and don't use the cheaper ones, been there and it wasn't nearly stable / grippy enough. Found myself drifting on almost every roundabout when it rained, and squealed like piggies in the dry
