no this is not normal more to the point id be trying to fine out why it is missimg and get one fitted soon

UK or JDM? though my JDM doesnt feel like it has a steering lock it does take some time to get it to kick in

should have mate,mine has.............turn to the right it will lock on

Haha sorry my mistake, i'm a new owner and my Mark 4 Golf locked with a wiggle, i just had to turn it a lot more! Thanks all.
