Default new battery keeps dying

hi all,
i had an accident 11 weeks ago skiing so hadn,t drove for a while.i put a new battery on my 2002 sti 6 months ago. i didnt touch car for 3 weeks due to my accident. the alarm started going off after the 3 weeks due to the battery going flat. recharged fully and now the battery seems to last only a few days even with the alarm switched off. any clues as to what is causing this. its really annoying charging the battery every few days. never had this problem before.
cheers guys and girls in advance

Possibly your tracker draining your battery?

Do you drive during the day with your side lights on to charge the battery?

These cars have a smart alternator circuit that will only charge your battery if it senses a load on it.. i.e side lights

I'm sure an expert will be along shortly and advise further..

probably the battery> there not designed to be left in a dis-charged state> If it was flat for a while its probably had it regardless of age
