I have an 03wrx with only a prodrive downpipe cat. Been fitted for a while with no issues, today when cruising on the motorway at about 75mph, I lifted off and the cel come on . After reading it I have a P0420 cat below threshold. Should this cel be enabled or disabled on my map. The car flew through MOT on emmisions with no issues. Is it the motorway run getting it hotter or is it likely to be an o2 sensor or cat fault. Was planning on having car mapped after xmas so if a mapper disables this cel I have nothing to worry about.

i have the same problem, i fitted a 100 cel sports cat back in march and every so often and under the same conditions ur describing the cel light pops up. however i have a scanguage 2 odb 2 digital gauges and when ever the light comes on i can reset it again within a few seconds. i was told the only way to get rid of it was to have it deleted within the new map. scoobyworld assured me that driving the car would be fine
