i had the same problem ended up triming about 3/4 of and inch off the pipe which sits against the inlet body fit perfect and wraps around oil filler as it shows in pictures bumper will need abit of triming with a stanley knife too to get it back on but still have air con and front spots.

Before doing any remedial cutting!, contact harvey.

He supplies and fits the Hybrids for a living and will be able to go over everything. Hopefully, he'll be in a position to sort it over the phone, or by email, for you...

When properly fitted these kits fit OK. I suspect your problem lies with the pipe from the core up the front of the timing chest. This pipe is critical. sometimes it is necessary to trim the fan cowl to get the alignment right. When that pipe is properly aligned then the pipe past the battery, oil filler to the throttle body will fit perfectly but there are several little tricks that can make fitting easier.
If you need further help, ring me Wednesday after 09:30 as I am tied up until then
If I am in a meeting I will always phone you back if your phone number is disclosed.

They are well tight, as above i fettled the fan shroud a little. The filler does touch the top pipe, but it does go on:
