Default fitting a fmic

i just bought a fmic for my new age from ebay. my question is are they easy to fit for a novice, ie me!. the car is off the road for the winter so i am in no rush. i seen some instructions on the net, the hardest part seems to be taking off the bumper. can it be done with the car on the floor or will it need jacking up?. sorry if this seems a numpty question

What year is your car ?

As said, some of these ebay kits are worse than the tmic you are replacing..

GC8 is a classic Impreza, which is what that kit looks like it's for.

If the core size is correct, it looks like it is for a classic.

Your existing TMIC is good for 400+ bhp

I rolled the dice with a cheap ebay fmic, it never made it on to my car, the quality was shocking! The pipes looked like they had been welded by chimps. If you are in no hurry, i would send that back, save an extra bit of cash and order the correct fitment HYBRID. Just an idea..........

Selling it straight back on to someone else - save your money your existing top mount is better than that even if it did fit (which it is unlikely to)

Could've been worse, you could have been pulling your hair out trying to fit it!

For a fact the kit you have is for a GC8. You need a GDB kit.
