you can fit the sti8 undertray but the my99 scoop is too small to allow the full benefit of it,so you`ll only get about 65% of its effiency

i fitted a 2003 wrx TMIC along with its undertray and fitted the sti8 scoop and the extra room for the air to get in is unreal

but is it that much better that it would affect the charge temps that much? will the 65% be sufficient enough to run 1.4-1.5 bar on vf35 to accomplish 340/340 ish? or do i actually need to something about it,i really dont want to be changing the look of the bonnet!

The easiest thing to do is get yourself a sti8 undertray, if you already haven't, and remove the diffuser from the top [ the planes that fit under the scoop]
This is easily done by drilling the spot welds securing it with a 8mm drill bit and it'll just seperate to leave you the flat undertray ....Then take your old undertray, place it on top off the sti8 one and centralise the two appetures and draw around the outline of your old tray then cut to size with a dremmel or similar, take your time to get this right....

You may need to drill a few new screw hole to mount to the underside of the bonnet, but you'll find quite a few also line up, as will the the rubber seal with the cooler when you shut the bonnet...

I chose to stay with the original look scoop, but one that is 25mm taller...The sti8 one looks on a classic IMO.

Try and get some pics of mine up for you when I can. hope this helps

upto a speed of about 100mph it wont be far off,but over this then no,as you can see the difference in scoop size it really does need the huge scoop, hence the sti8 having it
