ok i recently had a MAF sensor problem now the maf has been changed i have been trying to reset the ecu, however i couldnt manage to do it as the CEL stayed on. after a bit of research i discovered it may be the ECU itself faulty, i changed the ecu to an after market one just to check this theory but the car then lost power and the CEL was on even when the keys were not in the ignition. i changed the ecu back to the previous one and now the car will not start. i had an imomobiliser but i have now completly removed it from my car to rule out that it had been that stopping my car from starting. any help will be greatly apreciated....
