Bugger, and the seller replyed to my question as oh yes this is all you need for a de cat system, his description reads :-

Dont quote me mate but ive had 2 UK turbos and replaced the downpipe and centre section on the 1st one, both of which include cats. Im only aware of there being 2 cats so im unsure about the up-pipe and the benefits of replacing it.

it could be used as a up-pipe decat on a newage wrx, thats if you have that type of car? but i would recommend you find a decent one as those are **** and you would loose spool and make your car feel very sluggish.

As above its only the new-age wrx that has an up-pipe cat> This isnt needed for a classic. And the flexi type joint that is shown are generally rubbish and start blowing after a short while
