Re tune after exhaust change?
I recently bought my first scooby for a steal (£400 with tax, mot, private plate and loads of extras) the previous owner thought the water pump had gone and after spending his life savings on it, engine/gearbox rebuild and new turbo, his mrs told him it had to go. water pump turned out to be the header tank.
It had a blitz nur spec 3" pipe on it which was too loud so i put a kakimoto 3" pipe with a silencer on it.
Since the pipe change the car seems a bit hesitant at low revs and boosts late.
Do you normally have to have the ecu remapped or a re tune after swapping pipes?
I think he had it set up for maximum power but i need to do 250 miles a week to and from work so need it a bit more forgiving.
Any ideas?
