I have driven an evo 7 and i i,nearly bought it before my legacy, the car had fsh and was a dream to drive ,not the same sound as a scoob ,but still nice. When i looked at the last service bill it was £932.00 ,which included a cambelt change. That was enough to change my mind as well as the limited amount of mitsubishi specialist compared to subaru. Also i know people complain about the poor cabin layout and bland interior, well the evo was even worse imho.

my mate just bought a 8, fq-340 with a remap, and it fckin flies,
its only done 28k and is HEAVILY stonechipped across bumper, bonnet and wings.
its a nice car, better interior than the earlier fq's but nothing spectacular
that being said ive never drivenan equivelent scoob with that power and my classic sounds infinatley better.
go drive a few, do a bit of reading on the forums and take it from there
personal choice really imo.
