Synthetic is the way to go, if you are just doing normall road driving then 5w-40. If you drive it hard most of the time then go 10w-50.

Loads to choose from http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-647-engine-oils.aspx

Cheers

Guy.

If you want to be sure, go for the 10w-50, and the Pro S is as good as it gets

If your car has never had fully synthetic and has high miles then go for the semi synthetic, no point in wasting your money on a fully synthetic oil at that stage of your engines life

If the car has had regular changes of the semi and has been well looked after, there is an advantage to swapping to a synthetic now - it's a better oil. Also we have had a lot of feedback from customers about the Pro S 10w-50 in Impreza engines and some have said they managed to get a lot more miles out of the engine than they expected after swapping to Pro S

Oilman,

Ive just looked at your website and its listing 10 40 part synths for a 94 - 00 turbo 4wd.

I take it its fine to use that?

The site generally lists the basic option. The 10w-40 will be ok, but you can do better
