the waste gate control soleniod valve is making a clicking noise and the pipe from the bottem isnt connected i dont know where the pipe goes.

its a 96 classic wrx

 

Its ment to click that means its working. I aim you have a 3 port and the bottom pipe is ment to go into the air box resonator. I dont think its life or death that it goes into the resonator but the pipe must stay on the solenoid as it contains a brass restrictor.
