Default defi boost gauge problems

hey folks i have a 2003 sti ppp and have 2 problems with my defi boost gauge

1st one is the peak light doesnt come on but on other gauges works perfectly MAYBE AN LED?

2nd one is my defi gauge seems to sit a zero and is very hesitant to climb and when it does it bounces to full boost but for some reason will not go below the 0.0

please see below

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...500_AA264_.jpg

it just seems to stay above the 0.0 and i think it should go below. when revving

could this be a dump valve issue or the lines arent connected properly

any help would be really appreciated

cheers folks

steve

Where do you have the sensor/sender connected to?

hi
the sender is connected close to the airbox.

tube 1 connects from the sender to the a t piece
tube 2 connects from the t piece to another t piece which then goes to the actuator
tube 3 connects from the t piece back to the factory solenoid

i dont know if this is right but i hope it will be sorted soon

Can you post a pic? You may have to get it hosted first, Photobucket is good.

Try connecting the sensor straight to the inlet manifold, via one of the spare nipples.
