Default boost?

hi all
mate of mine got turbo 2000 standard apart from panel air filter and exhaust back box,fitted with td04 turbo no remap or anything.bought a cheap boost gauge of ebay says its running about 1.3 to 1.4 bar of boost what does a standard turbo 2000 with td04 normaly run at

0.9 bar or thereabouts, so either the boost gauge is hopelessly inaccurate, the car isn't standard at all, or it has severe overboost and is in danger of sh*tt*ng itself.

The other possibility is that your mate can't read the gauge properly and is actually seeing 13 or 14 psi - which might sound dull but someone on here has done exactly the same in the past, so it's possible.

LOL 1.3 OR 1.4 BAR ON A STOCK CAR WITH OUT A REMAP? that is way toooo much boost for a stock car mate and im sure 100% thats nt runing that much boost on a wrx lol... the car would be cutting out because of the overboost if he was runing that much....
it probly is in psi or a faulty boost gauge

spoke to him today its not bar its psi says it running at 16psi now still seems alot
