Default Exhaust sensor size?

Hi, I just sold a full exhaust system to someone from my 98 UK Turbo 2000, and he says his lamda sensor is too small for the hole in the downpipe? His car is a 93 WRX. Is there a solution to this or is another downpipe needed?

Cheers

The reason behind this is the other guy with the 93 car is trying to fit the exhaust temp sendor into the lambda hole. The Lambda sensor on the 93-96 cars is in the headers not the downpipe! He can just block that hole off with an M18 bung/bolt and fit the down pipe. The EGT sesor he has can be done away with as its a warning for the cat catching fire. Tell him to follow the armoured cable to the plug and disconnect it.

Problem solved job done.
