It also depends on the MY of your car, They could either be side feed or top feed too

yes, venom injectors. been snooping around the net.
lots of persons have said these fail & are wrongly flow checked coursing engine damage.

i seen them before i looked into it.
the other option, is the blue 500cc sti v5/6 injectors
i'm only after around 330/340bhp. the 440cc one will get there, but will max out more reaching it.

the 440cc injectors i have will get this.
but will max out more compaired to 500cc ones

regards to the 500cc sti ones, i'm sure there phase 1.5
but if phase 2, only takes a fitting kit. i have phase 2 in my early classic, phase 2 injectors have a better spray than phase 1/1.5

so being standard on the sti v5/6 will be stable on tick over
well thats the way i see it.

been looking up injector info all day, its amazing what you find out when digging on the net

the ones in the for sale section.
hope the guy isn't to disapointed.
did a check to see what these venom injectors are like. nearly every thing i read, says there rubish and can damage your engine one power increse
once brought, they need flow checking & setting up

heres one of the sites:-

http://www.mkiiisupra.net/bbs/showthread.php?t=15110

theres many more saying the same too

proper subaru 500cc injectors are blue.
theres a set of yellow 550cc injectors on flee-bay too
but always throught the yellow was 440cc????

i've looked every where on the net. & theres lots of colours for the same cc
there must be somewhere that knows whats what

Just get your own injectors modified. Saves all the faffing around and being confused about which ones to buy etc etc... Once modified and they have brand new pintles fitted, flow matched and cleaned thoroughly to be as good as new. Then they're flow tested to see how they perform and bob's your mothers brother!!

Subaru already provide you with a decent bit of kit that just needs altering to up performance so why sweat it?? Same with lots of other aspects of Subaru's.

P.S. dabow....most don't start playing up if they're done properly by a reputable firm!! It's much more likely if you modify them yourself that they start playing up, and often do because you haven't modified them properly!!

i have a fse boost valve, infact i have 2. brought the standard type, then seen the newer one which i sprayed red to match the car. but heard 440cc injectors max out still
thus needing replacing as they wareout quicker

dont want to chance starving the engine if it did happen

A set of 440's after modifying should flow around 700cc and 550's after modifying 800cc or thereabouts. The toughest job when modifying injectors is to make sure all 4 are flow matched to at least within 1-2% of eachother, that's the real skill.

RA Dunk - If you don't mind me asking, how much is it costing you to have them done? BTW...I don't think your injectors could be in better hands than Lateral Performance.

Im not too sure on price yet, I suspect one of them's sticking open and as long as they are down Mark is going to see if they can be increased to flow more
