Default WRX Turbo

Hi guys

Looking for some info on the turbo on my classic 99 WRX import.

I want to know for definate what the standard turbo should be, after a bit of research I have contrasting results, either its a VF29 or a TD05.

Can anyone tell me for definate what it should be?

Thanks in advance for any help

Thanks

I may pop something up at some point, not desperate at the mo just looking for a roundabout figure for what it will cost, or if a good one pops up at a good price I might buy it.

Thanks again

ive heard td series are more reliable than the vf series an can buy turbo kits for them so why would they change the turbo on later models to these. is it because the 90 degree bend or spool up time?
